My iPhone 5C is not showing any new emails received today. Is there a fix?

I have an iphone 5c with yahoo set up as my email account. As of today...my inbox is not showing any new emails recieved today ( yes I have received mail today). when i swipe down to fetch it tells me at the bottom that 20 emails have been added....also on the icon on the home page the number of unread email continues to go up..but when I open my inbox it only shows email from yesterday on.....

Can somebody please help me.

It happens to me all the time too. It's a glitch in iOS 7 and yahoo. I just close out the app completely and then reopen and it refreshes and emails are magically there. GL
