MacBook Storage memory Upgrade?

I

iMore Question

I'm switching from a PC to a MacBook, likely a 13" Air. Am upgrading to 8GB RAM. Advice is to upgrade to as much memory storage as I can afford, which has no relevance to what I might need. How do I estimate my needs in this area?

If you're planning on doing typical stuff like general web surfing, email, streaming videos, etcetera, then a MacBook Air with 8 GB of RAM should be "more than enough" for you.

Am going to need office suite for Mac...I'm wondering about actual storage of photos and documents...

As long as your hard drive space is plentiful, you should be fine. Also, do like many others and take advantage of cloud storage -- OneDrive, Dropbox, Google Drive, to name a few.
