    Default 4s GPS Issue

I have a 4s running iOS 7.1 and recently all my GPS apps (Waze, Beatthetraffic, Scout, and Google Maps) lose GPS while I'm driving. The apps work when I'm in wifi range, but stop when I leave my home or office and get in the car. Is this a 7.1 issue? I've tried the turning off/on location services option and the same thing happens.

The only thing that seems to work is turning my phone off when I'm in wifi range and not turning it on until I'm out of range. This is a hassle and doesn't seem like a permanent fix.

    Anyone else getting this?

    Hi and welcome to iMore.

I haven't had this issue at all.

Does it do the same thing with wifi completely turned off?

It shouldn't work the way you mentioned it should switch right over

Try the above mentioned turn off wifi completely and also try a hard reset if it hasn't been done lately

When you leave wifi range the phone should continue with cellular data...
