Which was the bigger jump? 4 to 4s or 5 to 5s?

I was just wondering which of the jumps above made a bigger difference to you guys?(if you've owned all.) Personally, the jump from 5 to 5s was bigger to me. Mhmm.

I never owned the 4 so I can't speak for that but the 5 to 5S was a pretty decent upgrade for me.

Edit: BTW...Welcome to iMore!!!

When you buy the best Smartphone on the market no matter what model it is, There is no big jump...You simply back up the old, Set up the new model as new and put your backup on and pickup where you left off, It is that simple.

Equal...4 to 4S brought Siri, 5 to 5S brought finger print scanner. Both refreshed models had a handful of smaller improvements and feature additions and a chip set improvement, but really a singular MAIN feature enhancement. I think the 5S's new chip set was a bigger change vs. the 4S's.

To me 4 to 4s was bigger just because that is the jump I noticed the most speed improvement at-least for me.

Going from the iPhone 3GS to the iPhone 4 was huge because of design, processing power, the retina display, camera, and storage capacity. Other than that, I agree with Sean in that the changes from then onward have been basically equal.

Out of the choices given, I would say the 5 to 5S was the bigger jump. I didn't consider Siri to be enough of a jump for me but the fingerprint scanner and 64 bit architecture, although not fully utilised, seems like a bigger jump to me.

I thought the Siri jump was definitely the biggest, as it brought along some unprecedented voice control at the time.

5 to a 5s to answer the thread question

Life experience would be my parents bell rotary to a 900 MHz cordless

That was super cool 😁
