How old is it and in what Model phone? It may be time for a new one and there is a new article on the Blog Today on how you can do it yourself, If you feel uncomfortable with that I would take it and have it checked and changed if needed.

If you're using the device, the battery will drain and eventually need to be re-charged. Are you saying that it is discharging too rapidly?

Ha...that was my first thought also! Technically, no one's iPhone battery stays charged if unplugged and being used.

If you're using the phone it will need to charged. Now if what you're saying is it doesn't hold a charge that's a different story. There could be a problem with the battery.
