Sim card issues. (iPhone 5c)

So I have a friend that recently told me (over instagram) that her iPhone is no longer picking up her Sim card. She has a Sprint 5c running ios7. Not jailbroken. Can I get some help with this issue? She says this has happened before, but what she's done in the picture has resolved her issue during those times. Thanks ahead of time, and feel free to tell her to switch to an Android

Switch to Android. Just kidding, try resetting the network settings.

Settings > General > Reset> Reset Network Settings

Also try removing and reseating the SIM card.
