None of my notifications are alerting me anymore.

I have tried everything to get my Notifications on my iPhone 4S ios6 for Facebook, emails, Words with Friends, text messages, WhatsApp. Etc to,work. They were working ok this morning and have suddenly stopped working. Everything is switched on but still I get nothing. Normally my iPhone 4S is pinging away all day with alerts but it is silent! I am not very technical so any advice you can give me in ***** speak would be much appreciated! Sarah

1. Check the mute switch on the left side of your iPhone.

2. Make sure the volume level is increased by pressing the button with the "+" sign on the left side of the iPhone.

3. If neither of the above two work, turn off the phone, wait about 10 seconds, and then turn it back on.

Also check in settings and make sure that "Do Not Disturb" is turned off.
