Download bookmark onto home screen

Hey everyone,

A question which I have been Googling around for, for a while now. But I cannot find the right solution or maybe I just am looking for the wrong thing.

I want a school paper to be viewable on an Iphone/Ipad. I worked the paper out into a website and I know anyone can visit the website, and bookmark it for them to have an icon on their 'desktop' to my website.

But I wonder. It should also be possible to download a bookmark instantly for the user to have the bookmark on his phone, without having to visit the website first. Could anyone please tell me how this can be done? Basically a button which simulates an app but in reality is simply a bookmark/url to website.

Any help or even a suggestion of what to look for would be really appreciated!

Visit the site in Safari. Tap the box with the up arrow.

And select add to home screen. A icon will appear on the home screen for what you bookmarked.
