recycle bin icon missing

I am unable to delete photos on my Iphone 3gs because my recycle bin is missing on my Iphone 3gs. How do I get it back?

Tap on select and then delete the pictures.

It will not be visable until you hit Edit top right corner and then select the pics, Once you choose one there trash can will be visable bottom right and then you can select as many as you want and delete them.
