I need to switch companies. Can I go from At&t to Verison with having to buy another phone

It depends on which iPhone you have and if it is unlocked.

If you have an unlocked Verizon iPhone, I believe it will work on all US carriers except Sprint. I don't believe Verizon will allow phones not by them on their network though.
