Can I see a family member's messages on my phone w/out them knowing?

My wifes iphone is one of my old ones & it is linked to my iphone account. I have read how people get duplicate messages. can it be set up that I see her messages but NOT the other way around? I have reason to think she is having an affair but need proof. can I get to see pushed messages to & from her phone without her knowing ?

Well gee maybe if she didn't have one of your OLD phones things might be a bit different?

First it can't and second you said you heard about duplicate messages but want to know how to do it and since you cannot do what you want, I would just move on until you have your own proof. Good luck.

No. If iMessage is configured the same on both devices, incoming and outgoing messages will be synced to both devices.
