iMore Question

Installed on one iphone but second iphone fails "unable to verify update" ... "No longer connected to Internet." I know I am connected cause I can grit other sites.

Easier Solution: Turn off the iDevice and turn back on. This must be a complete shutdown. Hold power button for 5 seconds until you get the swipe to turn off. Then turn back on. Recheck for updates and you will be able to get the latest update.

First of all, this thread is over a year old.

Second, no matter what you do, you cannot install any version of iOS prior to 8.4 on any device newer than the iPhone 4. Apple is only signing iOS 8.4 at this time.
