iMore Question

Hi. I installed BBM on my phone and it worked perfectly on my iphone 4S ios 7.0.4 for a while. I jailbroke my phone added all the tweeks i needed then BBM started to crash like crazy. When I boot the phone safe mode it works but not in the normal mode with the tweeks and all. I cant tell which tweek is causing the problem but I think the crash reporter would be of help to those who understand because i dont. Will you help me?
Thanks in advance!

From what I understand of the crash reports, they do not reflect cydia installed tweaks or apps...so it may not give you the whole store even if you were to look through that entire list.

If you were doing modifications through a JB, you will need to back trace what you've done until BBM stops crashing. Seems obvious but that is truly the best way for you to remedy this issue, because clearly one of your customizations upset the native performance of BBM.

You jailbroke the device, you can't blame iOS because of something you did, or because of a tweak that wasn't fully integrated into everything represented within the OS. iOS is perfectly user friendly...if anything, your hatred and irritation should be pointed towards the creator of the modifications you were applying to it that actually caused the error and problem here. iOS wasn't the cause of it...and I'm guessing BBM wasn't either.

Don’t give me that crap. ios is primitive and makes your life much harder. It is **** without jailbrake and even with JB it is still ****. It has a lot of issues with it. it even lacks a file explorer to handle the files and such (ifile)

Anyway, I found the cause of the problem. It was ****in numberbook and the source was BigBoss. How weird can that be! ****in numberbook i mean a total independent app

Anyway, I found the cause of the problem. It was ****in numberbook and the source was BigBoss. How weird can that be! ****in numberbook i mean a total independent app

That's your opinion, and I totally disagree with you...but I could care less about discussing it with you, especially given your tone here. You know, just to give you a bit of advice (knowing full well that you won't take it and you'll just make some condescending remark back to me), if you join a website asking for help, and proceed to sh*t all over the device (or even OS) that the website and community is based around, your time here is not going to be pleasant.

Don’t give me that crap. ios is primitive and makes your life much harder. It is **** without jailbrake and even with JB it is still ****. It has a lot of issues with it. it even lacks a file explorer to handle the files and such (ifile)

Thanks and I did!
I am glad you resolved your issue but truly and I don't stick up for people but that was no way to act towards someone who tried to help you as Sean did telling you the facts and I think you should apologize and enjoy the device and not bad mouth it. You bought it my friend.:)

Oh no reason for apology...I could care less how he addressed me, he won't be around long enough to fully appreciate anyone's assistance anyways. And to be honest, a person who would go into the iPhone and start messing around with stuff to the point where it didn't function as it should, and then fall back on blaming the OS for their own actions is not someone I even care to hear an apology from.
