The older mini has extremely old internals, from the iPad 2 era (2011)

I bought a Mini and had it 3 hours this going back now when the Mini 2 w/ retina came out and I knew before I left the store what was going to happen. YUP went back and traded and got a Zagg Screen Protector on it with an Apple full case and love it. So will you, In the store even you can tell the difference between thew 2 displays. Good luck to you.
