After going dead, my iPhone won't stay on after charging.

I was on the phone and my iPhone 4 went dead so I put it on a charger and I went to check on it 20 minutes later and the cord was plugged in right but will come on then go right back off what should I do?

Leave it off and charge it for about an hours and then try to turn it on.

If after charging for an hour it still wont power on try a different charger and cable.
