You can use Skype in this case. Samsung is using Android platform and iphone using ios platform. So apps used in Android can't be used in iphone if its not built in IOS platform. I use Photo4tune for chatting and sharing photos. This is available in Android and Iphone. So you can use this. Though all my friends have android so I have no problem. You can try this out.

Oovoo is pretty good, I like it a little bit better than Skype currently
