Putting ios6 back on iphone 5?

I have ios 7.4 or whatever is the newest on my iphone 5. I have my iphone backed up on our itunes on our laptop. My wife has ios 6 she never upgraded. So my question is if i wipe my iphone can i choose to use her backup on my iphone so i have the old ios and not the ios 7. We both have iphone 5's n white thats 16g and same carrier. Help please? Thanks!

Even by wiping your phone you still have iOS 7 once you upgrade to it.

In the case of a iPhone think of wiping the phone as wiping your information and data not like a computer hard drive that's wiped that you could put any version of any OS on.
