the contrast is too low!!

The contrast is way too low on my iPhone 4 I can't see a thing, how do I make it brighter please please please help!!

Open settings, go to Wallpapers and Brightness...adjust accordingly.

If on iOS 7...use the quick launch by sliding up from the bottom of your screen and adjust brightness there.
