It can work, but you will not be able to use the LTE function (and I believe that carrier still has issues with visual voicemail).

Yeah I'm using right now 4g LTE metro pcs on my iPhone 5c unlocked factory and it's really damn fast 4g LTE. all you can eat 4g LTE plus they use on t-mobile network same coverage. I'm really love it!!! I feel like they broke my iPhone's Virgin already..
