ipad 2 screen replaced, now have lines

My grandson dropped his ipad 2 from his lap. Cracked the screen. Ipad still worked perfectly. Ordered new screen and digitizer on Amazon. Replaced it. Now have multicolored lines across bottom of screen no matter which orientation. What could be causing this?

I assume a faulty replacement screen and/or digitizer or something was not fully or correctly set during the installation. Retrace your steps.

Bad part, bad install...could be a couple of other things...you can bring it to a private repair shop or Apple to see what they say, or try the repair again.

One thing to consider...cheap replacement parts often equate to early failure or instant failure...just FYI.
