Default Is the iPad Air Mac-centric?

I presently work on a desktop MAC and need to be more portable so I thought an ipad air would be a great option. However, i don't want two different types of interface. Is the ipad air MAC centric?

I'd say so. You shouldn't have any problems using the IPad Air.
