Lost my clock on the lock screen.

Let night I was reading on my iPhone and fell asleep. This morning I seem to have lost my lock screen clock. The iPod controls are there now. I have tried pressing the home button and the clock comes back until it locks and I press a button to wake it again. Then I have the iPod controls again. I have no idea how to get it back to the clock and have it STAY on the clock. I mean why are the iPod controls there when you can just swipe up from the bottom and the iPod controls are there.

I would like to just turn off the iPod controls on the lock screen so I can have my clock back as I use it often.

Have you tried a hard reset?

A hard reset is holding the home and sleep until restart? Let me try and I will report back.
