iphone screen shot without video play arrow?

I followed the screen shot directions but all later show the play arrow on the video even when it does not appear on the screen shot at the time. frustrating! Any ideas?

I was able to take two screen shots (with no "play arrow" on them) just now...once while playing, and once while paused.

A helpful hint you may not be doing is simply touching the screen once while the video is playing/paused (if the control tools are showing)...whether it is paused or playing, this will make the video the only thing on the screen.
