Why are others able to see my text messages?

Other people can see my text conversations even though they are not involved in them? I am not in group message and have checked all my settings but can't seem to turn it off.

Who are you referring as other people if your not sending in group are you replying to a group message

If you have more than one iOS device configured with the same Apple ID, especially iMessage then those devices will indeed be able to see your text messages.
