Cellular data turns on by itself

I went over my data plan twice already with not much use. So I turned off cellular data to save data. It keep turning itself back on. What would cause this? Does push email make it turn on?

Not sure about that, never turned off data. Go into your settings> Cellular> and see if you have anything using cellular data after you turn it off.

Neither. I just turned off data when I went to bed. And when I wake up, it's on again.

I did a google search and found that this has been happening to lots of people since the iPhone 4!

I thought maybe my push email triggered it. But that wasn't so. When I turn off data I'm also not connected to wifi.

Very strange. Very annoying because if like control of that.

Yes. I have Verizon. OS7.
