photos iPhone to Mac book

I wan't to connect my iPhone 3 to Mac book and download photos but I do NOT want my contacts on Mac Book to sync with iPhone

You don't need to do anything in iTunes, so when you connect the iPhone if iTunes starts to open close it. Then open Image Capture and use it to import all your photos. You can do a backup of your contacts before connecting just in case. Open the Contacts app and then click File -> Export -> Contacts Archive and save the file. This way if anything happens to your contacts you can just wipe it clean and import the archive and put everything back.

You can also open iPhoto directly. Either one will work.
