Do a search on Google for the iOS 5 .ipsw version you would like (ex. 5.0.1). ALWAYS following warnings and be-careful where you download it from.

Also, iOS 7 is out just in-case you wanted to try something newer :)

If you go to Settings, then General on your iPad, you should see an option for Software Update. Tap that and see if it offers you an update. You should be presented with the latest version of iOS available for your iPad. If you're trying to upgrade to older firmware, you may not be able to because the installers are not signed.
