Alarm volume

how can i keep the alarm volume level independent from the ringer volume? because i always put the ringer low but forget to change it when i put the alarm. and i cannot hear it when it rings.

There is no way to do this as far as I know with the native alarm.

I would like that ability. I also would to be able to have my phone on silent/vibrate and not have a vibrate for the alarm.
