i cant edit certain tracks in itunes

I've added a number of tracks to my iTunes. For some reason I cant edit their titles / info while I can others. I need to do so because they're not descriptive at all and I know it'll get all confused on my iPod. Please help!

I've done some searching but can't seem to find what your looking for, don't understand how it's only some.

Be sure you are not in the device music section but in your music library as in iTunes, the difference between the two could be confusing. You won't be able to edit iPod/iPhone music from within iTunes.
