Noobie jailbreaker seeks to restore phone to firmware and then restore selected apps

[iMore Question]

My phone Is too boggled down and I figured it's time to restore the phone. I'm looking to keep most of my cydia apps and regular apps and their settings, but I don't know if there is a definitive app to help me to do all of these. Is there a guide for this?

Back up your apps thru iTunes and that will save them when you restore. If you restore your iPhone thru iTunes you will lose your jailbreak and not be able to re-jailbreak as there is no jb for iOS 7. I would suggest using semi-restore or iLex-RAT from Cydia to restore your device Nd preserve the jailbreak. Good luck
