iPad air smart cover question!

So I've read that the new smart cover is a tri fold and before it was 4 folds. How is the iPad air standing up? is it sturdy or with just a little push, does it seem to fall backwards?

Haven't used it myself, but haven't heard any complaints about it either.

I have the Smart Cover and it's quite sturdy. Actually with one of the folds gone, the surface area in contact with the iPad is wider, so it should be more stable.
