Getting photos on iPhone 5S from years back to events

Somehow my photos have been sorted from events into years which I absolutely hate. Does anyone know how to revert them back to events?

Just select the "Albums" icon at the bottom right corner of the screen. If you only have one album, your photos will be displayed in the manner a majority of us are accustomed to.
