Samsung Galaxy Gt-56500D - Connect to/from IPad2

Hello.

1) Is there a way to confirm whicjh IPAd version I have from WITHIN Ipad (the back of the ipad has tiny tiny tiny text, i cant read that small)

2) Does anyone know how i can connect to/from IPAD2 & my Samsung phone via bluetooth & / or any other method.

Samsung "bluetooth" is like calling Japanese a LANGUAGE & English a LANGUAGE - both are languages but completely different to each other.

I cant see each other.

Is there a way I can FTP / other method to/from my IPAD & mobile phone - transfer files ? - & when i'm on a desert island 50,000 miles away from civilisation & power plugs etc.
