how can you set the iphone c to show a delivery report

I am assuming you're referring to iMessages, therefore, when you send an iMessage or when someone send you an iMessage, "delivered" will automatically appear on the screen of the sender unless there's a problem. If you want to auto-alert the sender when you've "read" an iMessage, then go to Settings>Messages and then scroll down to "Send Read Receipts" and then tap on the button slider next to it to display green.

So, I know it's supposed to do it automatically,,

But it doesn't with mine. It's glitchy, works some of the time but not all the time, with Imessages,, (the blue messages)
