Can not send messages out with iMessage

When I try to send a message to an iMessage user, the progress bar says sending and then stops about 90% through.....if I turn off iMessage, it's fine.....recently started happening on iPhone 5 w IOS 7

Apple is aware of the problem and is working on a fix. In the meantime, simply reboot your device.

Thank you for this update as I was unaware until I read your post. I have not had any trouble on WIFI or Cellular Data so far.
