Can I widen the color-coded bands in ios 7 calendar (located on list/search screen)?

I can no longer see the colors used to classify entries but need to stay in the "list" mode, which is now the "search" mode. Is there a way to make the color bands thicker so I can actually SEE the colors?

No way to re-size them on the lest view... Yes quite thin, but I just change colors to help separate them better.
