Can't download any apps on my iPad

Tried to download google maps ..... Tapped install but nothing happens. Thought it may have just been that one app but it is everything. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Mike.

Try rebooting your iPad. If that does not work, a restore may be in your future.

Press and hold the home and power buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears on the screen... Then let go of the buttons.
