Do we always have to use pass code?

Not at all. Totally on if you want one and set it up. Do you remember when you were setting it up, it asked you if you wanted to set up your pass code whether it be a plain simple numbered pass code or the fingerprint reader. You can set either one up at any time you want in the future should you change your mind. Thanks for the question.
