Ios 7 Calendar problems

Just updated my ipad to ios 7 and all my events have gone from my calendar. Daren't update my iphone in case all lost for good! What's going on?

Reboot your device. That should fix it, but if not, you can always delete the email account that the calendars are associated with and reconfigure it.

I actually had to do this the other day and it worked. Good advice.
