A family member will be getting a passed down iPad 2 this holiday. I was looking to get him started with some good apps. Everything from games to productivity apps any recommendations would be great.

3. Instapaper
4. Reeder or Feeddler Pro
5. ReaddleDocs
Games
1. Fieldrunners 2
2. Ninja Jump Deluxe
3. Temple Run

In that case, and I am assuming he's not into news feeds...
...I recommend replacing Reeder / Feeddler Pro with Facebook, Twitter and Dropbox.
