Apple Podcast App

I've really tried to love this app but find when I do use it, with all settings geared to wifi only, it still uses far more 3G data than it needs too (78 mb in 3 days (on wifi only))

I use the ugly but brilliant "Downcast" which doesn't use 3G data unless you tell it to. Is there anywhere online you can go to view apps future update? I really wanna believe in the Podcast app but can't while its so poor.

I use icatcher and live it. Takes some getting used to but once your used to it it's perfect.

Unfortunately, no. We all hope that these apps will be updated to the point that they are useable... but Apple doesn’t share that info...

BTW, I use Downcast, as well.

Downcast easily satisfies my podcast needs. I tried the Apple a podcast app and didn't like it at all. It was too integrated with iTunes.

Ive got both on my ipad and on my iphone.
I must admit that it took me a while to get used to the apple podcasts app. Downcast is fantastic, but it is ugly.

one thing that I think is strange about the apple podcasts app is that you cant control the shuffle / repeat functions

I actually like the Apple podcast app. I really haven't used others much, but it seems to work fine for me. I also occasionally use tune in radio for podcasts.

I have the Apple Podcast App set up for wifi only & not to auto download, yet whenever I listen to an already downloaded podcast the data wheel goes nuts. Why? Not cool Apple

Since the update its improved 100%

I never had any issues with it. I've loved Podcasts since Apple debuted it.

I haven't tried it since it debuted. I was using Downcast and really liked it and then I recently downloaded Instacast which is also pretty good. I may give the Apple Podcast app another try soon.
