The only complaint I ever had was that it took forever to render, but that was only right after they released iOS 6. Now I use it all the time and have absolutely no problems with it. I personally think it's great, might not be as good as Google Maps but then again it's the first release. I'm sure a year or two from now it will be 100% better then Google Maps... Anyone else like it?

The stock Maps app functions, for me, no worse than my Garmin Nuvi765t, and no worse than Navigon on my iPad3 with added BadElf GPS receiver plugged into it.

personally, for what i use it for i have had no issues whatsoever. i use the turn-by-turn quite often and love it

i am not saying it is the best but it can only get better from here. anxious to see that happen

I like it. It's much faster to render the maps. And I like that the map isn't crowded with detail until you zoom in and actually need that detail.

The Apple Maps app isn't bad at all. Like Blink stated earlier, it's acceptable for the manner in which I use it.

I like Apple Maps. Havent had any issues with it. I really like being able to ask Siri where the closest place is and then navigate to it.

Apple maps are decent. They've come a long way since the iOS 6 beta days. But still room for improvement but more than useable and turn-by-turn works amazingly well.

I miss street view, and a lot of the satellite photos around me are black and white, but I've not had any problems getting from A to B yet.

I used it to get to my new polling place this morning and it worked flawlessly. I'm still very pleased with Apple maps.

Since I've been in China since the release of iOS6 maps, my opinion is a bit skewed compared to others. Over here, Apple maps is much better than the previous Google powered one. The difference is really night and day, or I'd say about 3 years. It feels like Google maps stopped updating about 3 years ago.

You must be a lucky one. The map for my neighborhood looks... Okay.

But when I zoom in it all goes to h*ll. According to Apple, I live somewhere in the middle of 5 different streets with exactly the same name! Let me assure you, in the real world each street does have its own name. One of which is the repeated name. But only one!

This behavior has not changed since day one.

I like The new maps. I don't use maps a ton, and when I have so far it was mostly for fun and to see if it got me there accurately. It has been perfect so far for me. Once when I actually needed it I wasn't paying attention and took a wrong turn and it rerouted me quickly and accurately. Not to mention the user interface is very nice.

In the past I have had Google maps steer me wrong once or twice, so that is not perfect either.
