Anyone on App.net?
What is the appeal, how is it different than Twitter? I see it costs five dollars a month, why would we pay for a social app when there are so many free ones, also you'd have to purchase a client app to view them.

Anyone on App.net?
It's more developer friendly than Twitter from what I hear. No ads.

Re: Anyone on App.net?
I don't know how well this will catch on with the general populace. IMO most people won't leave a free ad-supported network like Twitter for a fee-based one. My guess is it will be more of a specialized or niche feed for developers, etc.
