Former Blackberry user who picked up the new iPhone and love it so far. Is there an RSS reader app that has a scheduled sync? Everyone I have looked at has to be started then it updates. I want one that will check for new articles every few hours so I don't have to start it. I enjoyed this on my BB, can't believe that the mighty iPhone doesn't have this?

Try feedrunner with push....needs a google reader account though.

This is not possible. There is no real multitasking in iOS. Apps are not allowed to run in the background waiting for the next sync.
