It is so wrong for a company that makes you pay (whether it's a dollar or twenty) to also subject you to ads.

I agree with you. I started using BeejiveIM and I like it much better than IM+ pro. I keep IM+ pro on my iphone as a backup in case BeejiveIM starts to act up.
