Google Voice in Canada question

Leaving tomorrow for a trip to Quebec, and it just occurred to me that I'm not sure if my GV number will work up there...it was set up here in the US, and I was hoping to use Talkatone for VOIP calls while in Canada, using my GV number. Do you all in Canada have full Google Voice features these days?

Massie, I'm sorry to report that Canada, as of yet, does not have Google Voice.

That's not 100% correct. GV is not available on Canada to Canadian customers. Also, US customers can't have their GV number point to a Canadian number. A person with a pre-existing GV account can access and use it just like they do in the US--including using talkatone.

In short, as long as you don't want GV to ring a Canadian number, you should be fine.
