The idea is good but after Installing I found my gps icon was permenantly on, even when the app was completely closed and the phone rebooted! I've uninstalled as I don't want this.

I'm not worried about letting the app use my location, but if the gps is active all the time it will impact on my battery life. Like Eick says I could just not allow this anyway.
