I tried it once to my brothers computer, and he couldn't hear me...anyone else have this problem? Also anyone else have problems signing in?
Edit: Figured out why it wouldn't connect, I removed it from MY3G on my JB iphone 4 and it wouldn't connect me for some reason, added it to the apps list again and all is good but now I'm not showing anyone online

I've used it, but the facetime video quality was noticeably more crisp and there seemed to me a lot more background noise when using skype. I don't think skype is using any noise reduction.
It's nice to have skype with video and I'll definitely use it, but I'd use facetime instead if it's an option.

I used it a couple of times yesterday and it worked GREAT! Obviously the better the 3G signal the better the experience. faceTime since it is WiFi only is better, but i noticed the Skype via WiFi was better than over 3G.

Had a Skype with video via 3G session on a 45 minute drive from the north end of coastal NH to the North Shore area in MA. Had my 3GS iPhone wedged between the dash and windshield, and Apple earbuds plugged in for the drive. Remote end was a laptop in PA. Video signal worked for the entire drive, and yes, I was paying attention to the road vs watching the video feed -- both hands on the steering wheel, and keeping my distance from other vehicles. That said, it drained > 50% of my battery charge in that amount of time...
