EmotiFun! app gives emoji WITHOUT jailbreaking! And it's FREE!
Hey guys, just thought I'd share a discovery.
Thus far, to enable emoji you have to either:
(a) to live in Japan,
or (b) have a jailbroken iPhone,
or (c) pay $0.99 to buy an app that enables the emoji.
BUT I just found an app called EmotiFun! that allows you to enable emoji on the iPhone for FREE. It doubles as a mini-game of sorts, but its real (and overtly mentioned) feature is that of emoji!
Not sure if it'll stay free forever, so get it if you're interested in enabling emoji for free. Just search for "Emotifun!" in the App Store, developer name "Bryan Dubno".Last edited by jadesimian; 02-11-2009 at 03:52 AM. Reason: Clarification

SWEET! Too bad I already paid $.99 for an app that enables emoji. I'll have to tell my brother about this, though.

Very nice find! Another alternative is Spell Number.
