I haven't found one it wouldn't do yet. Slysoft updates it nearly weekly. I use CloneDVD Mobile to rip the DVD to iPhone format. Excellent quality when finished. They are not free but I haven't had any problems with any DVD I have.
Seconded. I have the whole Slysoft suite, and am really happy with it.

For PC, I've used Cucusoft. It's not a free app, but it is very user friendly.

"Realplayer SP" player & "Realplayer SP" converter are very easy to use. Also very fast & work very well for free.

What are you using to convert the files? I use Handbrake and have the 5G iPod checked to ensure compatability.

If you're using Mac OS, you can use iSkysoft iMedia Converter for Mac. It is an all-in-one DVD/Video converter for Mac to meet your needs.
